National Conference Chief and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah visited Srinagar branch of Sharp Sight (Group of Eye Hospitals) for a routine eye check up on Tuesday. During his visit, eminent ophthalmologist and Director Sharp Sight (Group of Eye Hospitals) Dr Samir Sud and General Manager of Sharp Sight Deepshikha received and welcomed Abdullah to the state of the art eye hospital where his comprehensive eye examination was carried out which included checking his vision, glasses, etc. Abdullah congratulated the directors and management of the eye hospital chain for reaching out to such uncharted areas. He said, "A multi-Speciality and a hi-tech eye hospital was much needed in the Valley. So, with Sharp Sight opening its well-equipped and modern eye hospital in Srinagar and offering quality and affordable treatments, I am sure now the residents won't have to travel to other states for their eye treatments or surgeries.” The newly built eye hospital has a team of eye surgeons and advanced technology and equipments to provide complete eye care solutions under one roof, starting from general eye check up to complicated vitreo-retinal problems for patients. The National Conference President also interacted with office staff and was ecstatic to see many local and especially women employees as part of the hospital staff and management. He congratulated Sharp Sight for encouraging and offering job opportunities to the young and enterprising local residents. (KNS)
